Hi everyone, this is Michelle Buckley from season one of Baas and Bleats. I'm excited to introduce you to my friend Sarah Lowry, who will be hosting our upcoming season three. Sarah, I'm so excited for folks to hear what you've been working on. Can you give us a taste of what season three has in store?
Sarah:Hey Michelle, yes, I'm so excited to start hosting Baas and Bleats. Season three will highlight clinically relevant peer-reviewed research projects for goat sheets and camelids. I'll be interviewing lots of super smart, awesome people. For example, Drs. Meredith Jones, Joe Smith, Andrea Mongini, Robert VanSaun, and others. And we'll be covering topics like preventing pregnancy toxemia, carpal hyperextension in Nigerian dwarfs, urinary stones in small ruminants, colostrum evaluation, and pain control strategies, just as a few examples.
Michelle:So, Sarah, can you tell our lovely listeners what groups you think are going to benefit from tuning in this season?
Sarah:Whether you're a producer, a vet student, a veterinarian, or even just thinking about owning one of these species, the goal is to help listeners of any educational level or interest to understand the latest research about species that our organization serves. As a veterinarian who goes out into the field and talks to farmers all day, my goal is to bring these studies kind of to a level that we can find applicable and that anybody could understand. So make sure you subscribe to Bos and Bleats in your feed of your favorite podcast app and activate your notifications to get the updates when I do release the episodes.
Michelle:Well, thanks so much for all the hard work that you've done on this season, Sarah. I really think that our listeners are gonna enjoy the guests that you have lined up, and I hope that they let all their friends know about this exciting new season that we've got coming up.
Sarah:Yeah, I've really enjoyed um getting back to reading papers and looking at the research and talking to the guests, and I'm super excited to share it with the world. We look forward to connecting with you in the new year.
